The request for a broader bibliography covering world-wide literature and the enormous growth of material on the history of sport in Britain alone, has demanded that a separate publication, embracing both the Annual Bibliography of Publications and the Index to Sports History Periodicals, is produced in future. This will be produced as a supplement to the International Journal of the History of Sport and as a separate volume published by Frank Cass and Co. The first comprehensive volume covering the year 2000 will be published in March 2002, the second edition covering publications 2001 will be published in December 2002.
