First Conference of Sports History Ireland

Papers are invited for this conference which aims to provide a discussion
forum for all those interested in the history of sport in Ireland. Anyone who wishes to deliver a twenty minute paper – on any aspect of Irish sports history – should submit a 200 word proposal before 30 October 2004. It is planned to publish all papers in a collected volume. 

The organisers also intend that the conference should mark the foundation of a society dedicated to the discussion, promotion and publication of sports history in Ireland. Anyone interested in participating in, or simply joining, such a society is especially welcome.
