Third Annual Conference

16-17 February 2007

The Third Annual Conference of Sports History Ireland will be hosted by the Centre for Irish Studies, National University of Ireland, Galway in February 2007. This open themed conference will provide a platform for both established and emerging scholars to engage with new ideas and approaches to the history of sport in Ireland and beyond. Submissions are welcome from all relevant disciplines.

Anyone wishing to submit a twenty minute paper for consideration should send a 200 word abstract no later than the 30 November 2006 to sportshistoryireland@gmail.com, or to:
